Christmas

No, this isn't Christmas day, but it is hat night at our house! At first, she didn't like when big brother put her hat on, but she eventually got used to it. This also shows the pink purse big brother picked out for little sister and the tractor that she "picked out" for him. We just got the John Deere storage in the background. I thought it would help our toy clutter, but of course as soon as my little man saw it, he began to disassemble it!

This is our Jesse tree we made at church. It was fun making it and even more fun going through the advent days with a bible verse and lesson for each day of December. The only thing not on this one yet is the presents, representing the arrival of Jesus on Christmas Day.

Here is our Charlie Brown tree. We weren't sure if we would put up a tree this year considering two children under the age of three live in this household and the fact no one had time to get one or dig the ornaments out. On my last day at work (12/23), I stopped by the grocery store and saw a little live tree I had been admiring all month. It was probably four foot tall, so I didn't know if my husband would be impressed, but there were only two trees left and the store had marked the price down. After a call to my husband, we decided this would be more simple than cutting our own this year. Little man had a blast decorating it and considering it was probably cut in November it still looked pretty good.

Finally a Christmas picture. The little princess was in charge of keeping the bows and little man still wanted help getting the wrapping paper off, but you can imagine the fun we had on Chrismas day! Hope all your holiday season was bright. Tomorrow it is off to work I go.
